2011

It's the morning of a new year and now i've seen the passing of two decades, a century and a millenia. Life really never ceases to amaze me with how quickly it manages to move. So to be poetic, I want this new year to be a beautiful thing of light and happiness. Cuz next year when we hit December 21st it's gonna blow majorly! Armageddon jokes aside, this new year represents little new for me personally. I will officially become a full-blooded lax bro in Round Rock High School's inaugeral lacrosse season, as well as probably grow a few inches. Maybe I'll find a nice girl and make some new friends. I've already made one here in Colorado, if that counts. All jokes aside, 2010 was probably my best year yet, and I hope that 2011 continues reaching for the sky. It's 12:15 A.M. Mountain Time and I've got snowboarding in the morning. Thanks for reading and Happy New Year to you!

Durango

So I'm in Durango. It's definitely been a day and a half. I realize that's kind of a stupid phrase. So this morning around 4 or 5 the electricity in our condo went out. Apparently some genius driving a plow ran into a transformer. Also, we had to move the car out of the parking lot by 8. It sucked. Majorly. But in between the crappy parts, I snowboarder all day like a bawse dawg. While on the lift I met this family who turned out to be cool. This kid named Cameron, his dad Mark, Cameron's sister and his mother. I didn't catch their names. Anyway, they shredded pretty well. But after the boarding, the car was snowed in. After digging it out we go to drive back to the condo and the car slides into snow and we got stuck for a minute. We get to the condo parking lot, and the freakin snow plow is still doin it's thing. Mom pulls up and gets us stuck a third time. I spent about half an hour tryin to dig us out, to finally get inside. I had a great day, and it snowed about 18 inches. Just a couple spotty parts.

First

My first blog. A momentous occasion, isn't it? All things aside, I'll most likely never use this blog but the only way to find out is to check back, isn't it? The other funny part of it is that it's the day after Christmas and in two days I leave for Durango. Really I should start blogging afterwards, because then I'll have better topics of discussion. This one seems to really be rambling on. Well if you've read this far I suppose you deserve a small glimpse into my life. Today I was supposed to hang with this amazing girl but as fate would have my truck got a flat tire. I'm more than a little worried that I bug her but I don't know. Hopefully she reads this and understands that I just want to be with her. Anyway, that about wraps up my first blog, and thanks for reading.
